Christmas Bells Are Ringing

I love the Christmas season so much.  Everyone just seems happier around this time of year.  Christmas is, by far and away, my favorite holiday, and it only seems to get more exciting each year as more of my kids understand and get to experience the magic of Christmas.  We stayed in Vegas for Christmas this year and had all the Sagers clan together.  We played games together, went to the movies, had a dodgeball tournament, took new family photos, and re-enacted the nativity.  The kids love when their cousins come into town and I love watching them make fun memories with them.

We set out cookies, milk, and a note for Santa, and left Rudolph some carrots.

Waiting at the top of the stairs Christmas morning.  We can't wait to run down and see our gifts.

He came!  He really came! I showed the kids this picture I quickly snapped of Santa putting presents under our tree.  They were amazed that I was actually able to get a picture of him.

Carter got a darth vader action figure, pokemon cards, snap circuits, bubblegum, and candy.

Hayden got Candyland, a lava lamp, tights, princess lip gloss, and candy.

McKay got a nativity toy, Yoda action figure, bouncy ball, and candy.

We did a cousin gift exchange as well.

McKay got a sand box from his cousin.

Acting out the nativity.

The whole Sagers clan together.

We went up to Utah shortly after Christmas and spent New Years with the Robins gang.  Hayden was such a trooper bundling up for the cold weather.

The kids got some fun presents from Grammy Tammy and Grandpa Kipp.

We went up and spent some time at the cabin.

While up at the cabin we took our kiddos skiing at Sundance.  My little brother Jace, came along to be the demonstrator.

All in all it was a Christmas break for the books.  We love spending time with our family and are grateful for the birth, life, and example of our Savior.
