This was a big year for Carter because, being a leap year, he officially had his 1st birthday. He doesn't really get the whole "leap year" thing yet, but for us it's his unique, special little thing. Carter is taking some karate classes right now so he is really into all things ninja, so we decided to throw him a ninja party. He invited all his little friends and we started off by giving all the kids a black belt. Then we put them through some ninja training. Carter had a blast with all his cute friends. We just love our little Carter man and can't believe he's already 4 years old....well, kind of.
The kids all had to be super stealthy and climb through the laser beams without touching them.
This is Kevins attempt. That big rump kept getting in the way.
All the ninja kids had to be sneaky while playing "button, button who's got the button?"
We played bowling for ninjas. I rolled the ball at the kids and if it touched them they were out.
They had to use their strong ninja muscles to hit the piñata.
And Carter got some fun new presents.
