Halloween Hooligans

Halloween is such a fun and bizarre holiday.  What exactly are we celebrating? I don't know, but it's fun, so what the heck!  My kids had a blast this year.  There was no shortage of Halloween festivities going on in our neck of the woods.  From field trips to the pumpkin patch and the Orchard, to ward trunk or treats, and carving pumpkins.  We definitely got our Halloween fill. I'm sure it wont be long before we see reindeer and christmas trees taking place of the skeletons and bats.  Lets not forget about Thanksgiving though!  These next 2 months are definitely my favorite time of year.

Every time we went to the grocery store we had to walk through the Halloween isle.

Smiley skeleton boy.

We love Halloween.

School carnival.

The pumpkin patch at the farm.

She was so proud she caught a fish.

Hayden lost in the kiddie maze.

Carter was sad when we left because he didn't like the free little pumpkins they gave out, he wanted a huge one.

The Enchanted Forest

Hayden couldn't stop looking at her tail.  I think she really though she had one.

Carving pumpkins with cousins.

Carter and Hayden loved coloring their baby pumpkins (yes, Carter got over his sadness for getting a little pumpkin).

Hayride around The Orchard for a preschool field trip.

Hayden loved getting to tag along.

Carter thought this GINORMOUS sweet potato was awesome!!!! It was bigger then his head.

Hello my pretty (said in a witch voice).

My mom was kind enough to send us a couple different costumes for the kids so they got to switch it up from night to night.

This is my attempt at a fun Halloween lunch before trick or treating. haha.  Of course, it looked better on pinterest.
