Send off to Summer

As much as I love summer, I'm more then happy to say good bye to it and transition into a beautiful fall.  Don't get me wrong, we got to do lots of fun things this summer, but here in Vegas summer is hot, hot, hot (it probably didn't help that I was very pregnant for a good chunk of the summer).  On the other hand, Vegas in the fall is perfect.  We'll be starting Carter in Joy School and soccer and Hayden and McKay will be home with me.

Some of our fun summer activities included....

Meeting my parents new puppy, Bane.

We love going on hikes with cousins.

We went to a fun parade on the 4th of July.  Carter was feeling very patriotic waving his flags around like a maniac.

Hayden snuggling with Dad watching the fireworks.

After I had McKay my mom and two of my sisters came to visit and help out. We ended up painting nails in the backyard.

Hayden loves her daddy.

And he kind of likes her back.

The kids loved having Grammy Tammy and Hailey read them books.

We went to the Las Vegas Spring Preserve and Hayden was obsessed with the dino tails.

Being a kid is the best.  Now my fingers split open the olives when I try to do this.

Building a Hulk car at Lowes with Dad.

Carter loved meeting up to play with one of his best buds from Arizona.

We met some superheroes at the Children's Museum.

Hayden wasn't a fan.

Superhero Kids!!!

Sometimes I feel like I have little ducklings that just follow me around everywhere.

We can't forget about the newest little duckling.

Best buds.

I'm so glad I get to call them mine.

They keep life entertaining.

  3. I was at ASU bookstore picking up a book for ammon. As I walked through tons of people and objects I was feeling like a mother duck! When I told the boys to pretend like they were the ducklings they followed so well and actually thought it was a fun game, as long as I sang the song :) We are excited you get a pretty fall this year! Enjoy!
