Kev and Carter got to go on their first ever Ward Father, Son Campout this past weekend. Leading up to it I think I was way more excited then they were. Not just because that meant I'd get to have a nice, relaxing evening with some girl friends of mine (although that was a plus) but mostly because the whole idea of them going off, sleeping in a tent, squishing bugs, making smores, and having some manly male bonding time just made me so happy I love seeing those two together, I love how sweet Kev is to Carter and how he always takes time to get down on Carters level and listen/talk with him. I love how excited Carter gets when daddy comes home and how he thinks Kev is the funnest, coolest person ever! Those two boys together just make me smile.
