Best Easter Ever

I don't know about you, but I felt like Easter this year was especially wonderful.  It seemed like everyone was making a special effort to focus on Christ and His resurrection.  My Facebook page was flooded with pictures of Christ, videos of His sacrifice and resurrection, and reasons why their lives are blessed #BecauseofHim.  It really was a beautiful thing.  It helped me stay focused on the countless ways my life has been enriched and blessed "Because of Him".  So thank you to everyone that contributed to that.  I wish my Facebook newsfeed was always filled with uplifting quotes, pictures, and videos like it was on Sunday.
We had a wonderful Easter weekend.  Carter was in heaven doing easter egg hunt after easter egg hunt.  There is nothing more exciting then cracking open an egg to find CANDY!!!!

We kicked off the weekend at our ward Easter Eggstravaganza!  Before we left for the party I realized we didn't have an Easter basket, so I had to bust out the Halloween box and get his trick-or-treat bag.  Needless to say, he was the only kid celebrating Easter with a Frankenstein bag.

Carter wanted to open up each egg right away. I had to help nudge him along.

Checking our all the goodies!!!  I'll admit, I'm one of those moms that sneaks some of their kids candy.  Grown ups need treats too!

Sunday morning we did a little Easter egg hunt around the house.

I tried making rolls for dinner and this is what happened.......complete failure.  They were basically potato chips.
