We got to spend Christmas with Kevin's family in Vegas this year. Being 2 1/2 weeks from my due date we weren't sure if it was a good idea to drive up there but we decided to go for it, and I sure am glad we did. We had so much fun with grandma/pa Sagers and cousins. Here are some of our Christmas adventures in Mesa, and Vegas. (WARNING: picture overload....but that's what Christmas is for, right?)
Carter "helping" daddy set up the Christmas tree. We had a couple ornament balls broken in the process.
We decorated our house with snowflakes.

Carter just wanted to color......
.....and stick the pencil up his nose. I know, I know, not very safe.
We of course had to go see Santa. Carter cried until Santa gave him a candy cane, then he was all smiles.
Mesa temple lights.
Decorating cookies with cousins.
Nothing more exciting then his new train that went around the Christmas tree. He could stare at it for hours.
We got a new double stroller/trailer. We love it and have already used it a ton with the beautiful Arizona winter weather.
Dressed in our Bethlehem attire for the ward Christmas party.
We went and saw the Boats Lights Parade.
Shay shay and I had lots of fun playing together in Vegas,
and making silly faces on the iPad.
The weather was beautiful, we went out and flew kites at the park,
and swung on the huge carseat swings.
Carter had lots of fun with grandma.
While we all went out and saw the movie Frozen, grandma Sagers helped Brielle and Carter make reindeer hats.
Carter had lots of fun playing outside with the cousins.
Mason is one cool cousin.
Brielle, Carter, Mason, and Shay playing in the leaves.
Daddy and Carter going at it in a game of foosball.
Watching a movie in their matching sweats. These boys make me so happy.
Bellagio Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve ladder ball competition.
Shay and I making gingerbread houses.
Alan and Kev got a little too into the gingerbread house competition. They needed to be reminded the activity was intended for the children.
Coming down the stairs Christmas morning.
Carter loved all of his new cars, trains, and planes.
Kev was super excited about his hubcap gift, haha, ours fell off our car a while ago.
All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family. We are grateful for the birth, life and sacrifice of our Savior. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas as well.
