Sunshine, Sand, and Swimming

I say it every year but Lake Powell has got to be the greatest place on earth.  The week we get to spend there each summer is definitely one of my favorite weeks of the year.  My kids love it there just as much as Kev and I do.  Nothing brings me more joy then watching them play in the sand, hike on the rocks, ski skimmer, search for bugs, cannonball off the houseboat, catch fish, and scream on the tubes.  I know that just like I did as a kid, they are making memories they will never forget.

The campfire and sparklers were a big hit with all the grandkids.

Some of the grandkids ganging up on Uncle Jerry.

Paige working on her tan.

Cute girl cousins.

The weirdo boys with their tats.

My sis Ang and I just relaxing with our little boys.

It doesn't get any cuter then cousin Nora and her adorable little pink glasses.

Uncle Dev helped Carter dig up this Mammoth tusk.  Carter legitimately thinks it's a tusk.  I didn't have the heart to break the news to him.

Paige's long brown newborn hair has been falling out the past month, so we shaved it all off down at Lake Powell.

Hayden loves her Uncle Cam.

Aunt Jackie brought down lots of cute crafts for the kids to do.

Devin is always the king of catching fish.

Devin also found a little snake and brought it on the houseboat to show all the kids.  Come to find out it was a baby rattlesnake.

The tv wasn't working so the kids all huddled around a little iPad.

Hayden just hamming it up for the camera.

Our little McKay has grown up so much this past summer.
And Carter is definitely in his happy place.

Another successful year at Lake Powell in the books.
