My Life and My World

We've officially lived in Vegas for 1 year.  Can time please just slow down!!!!  We love our home, our ward, our friends, our callings, and our family here.  Life is good.  Kev has been busy finishing up his 1st year of residency and has learned so much.  He loves orthopedics and is glad he chose that specialty.  I've been a busy stay-at-home mom trying to keep up with my 3 munchkins.  They are my whole world. (And Kevin, of course).  Sometimes when I'm at the grocery store I just look down at my cart filled with kids and think about how different life is from 6 years ago when I was childless, and single.  Grocery shopping was a whole lot easier then, but way more boring.  Even though I have no room for food in my cart, and we often end the shopping with meltdowns and fighting, I wouldn't change one thing.  I love having my little buddies tag along with me anywhere and everywhere I go.  Here are some of the adventures we've been up to....

We participated in an "Amazing Race" date night with a big group of friends.  We had to drive all around town searching for clues.  It was so much fun...

...and we just happened to win!

It's always nice to have a night out with the girls.

My family came into town for the weekend and we went to the David Copperfield magic show.  I even got to go up on stage and participate in one of his acts.

This girl loves her daddy.

Kev and I ran in the Revel Mt. Charleston half-marathon.  It was such a great race and we had so much fun.....well.....it was fun once we were done running.

Little McKay is in such a fun age.  He melts my heart everyday.

We went to a butterfly exhibit with friends.

The kids were in heaven searching for butterfly's.

Hayden loved them so much she almost killed several of them.

This kid is such a goof.  I saw him in the backyard lying like this and I asked what he was doing.  He responded, "I'm a gecko camouflaging in the grass."  Kids are so weird.

Making play dough monsters.

Bring on the hot, hot summer!!!
