Time Together

Kev doesn't start work until the end of June and the kids and I have been soaking in every minute we get with him.  I love having him at home with us and getting to play and relax with him.  He's definitely enjoying it as well but I think he'll be excited to get back to a life with a set schedule.
Since he's had time off we've been able to do lots of fun things.  Most recently we went up to Utah to visit my family.  All of my siblings (minus Cam who is on a mission) were there, which with 12 kids is very difficult thing to do.  My mom loves planning fun, big things to do every single day we're there.  We loved getting to party it up with family.

We went up to a beautiful Ranch with family and friends for Memorial Day.  Hayden loved the little Pony.

Canoeing in the mountains.  It was so peaceful and beautiful.

Hayden loved playing with cousin Nora.

Carter thought he was so cool on the tire swing by himself.

Hayden needed some assistance from Uncle Dev.

The guys doing an obstacle course.

The next day we went on a hike up Sundance with our good friends the Robertson's.

I love Utah, it is so beautiful this time of year.

We couldn't come to Utah without visiting great-grandpa Robins' farm.  The kids always have a blast.

Sam, Carter and aunty Hailey.  These boys look like they could be brothers.

Hayden loves riding horses.

Great-grandpa Robins helped birth and care for this new baby calf who's mother died shortly after giving birth.  I have to mention he is 83 years old.  He is such a tough cowboy.  I love it.

The calf follows my grandpa around like he's it's mom.

We loved playing with him.

Relaxing by the bonfire.

Jace taking the kids for a tractor ride.

And Kev taking them for wheelbarrow rides.

We also got to visit grandma/pa Sagers.  Grandma gave Carter the rest of the jelly bean jar and he was in heaven.  I'm pretty sure both he and Hayden have mouths full of jelly beans in this picture.

To finish off the week we went camping up American Fork Canyon.

Grandpa Kipp helped all the grandkids fish.

We ended up taking off all the hooks because the kids kept swinging the poles around at each other.  Obviously they didn't catch anything after that, but they didn't seem to mind.

Hiking up to a fun rock climbing spot.

The gang rock climbing.

Carters first time climbing.

Heidi taught Hayden, or maybe Hayden taught Heidi, how to do the kissy face.

This was the result of partying the whole week, a very tired little boy.
