Coming to an End

Our time here in Arizona is quickly coming to an end.  It's around this time I start to get really sad about leaving our home, friends, and family that are here.  We have loved Arizona so much and have made so many fun memories in the few short years here, but change is always good.  We are very excited for Las Vegas.  We will have family so close, we found a house we're really excited about, and we're ready to finally get out of this whole "schooling" stuff and get into "real world" stuff.

We had to get one last swim in our community pool.

And one more weekend trip up to the cabin where we watched general conference and celebrated Easter.

This is the best day ever!

While at the cabin, I found Carter asleep one night with wolverine claws on.  You never can be too safe.

My family was on spring break and my little brother had a soccer tournament in Az, so they came and spent some time with us.  Carter followed Uncle Jace around everywhere.  They were best buds.

Hayden watching Uncle Devin's soccer game.

I have realized lately how much this boy watches me.  I came into my bathroom to find him painting his toe nails. (I like to think I can do my nails a little better though)

On a separate occasion I came in to find him tweezing his eyebrows.  (yes that is a cool tiger slap bracelet)

One last swim with the cousins.

And a little splash pad fun.

These two are so funny together.  Even though Carter often times likes to get under Hayden's skin, they are still best buds and love to randomly hug each other.

Early morning hugs.  Don't mind my intense "mommy voice".  It just comes with the job.

Carter had to say goodbye to one of his best buds.  These two always played so cute and funny together.  We are going to miss playing with him, and all of our fun Arizona friends.

  1. I was really hoping that Carter talking to Siri commanding her to "Call Hottie Husband" would have been one of the examples of him watching and copying things you do. Hahahah! Love those kids of yours so, so much!!! That video of them hugging over and over again is the sweetest thing. I'm sad you guys are leaving AZ - it has treated your family so well! On to bigger and better things!

  2. Love those kids of yours! We can't wait to see you all in a month or so. Since it looks like we'll be living in the Orem area our last few weeks, we'll have to make sure and let the little cousins play tons!
