My little Carter just turned 3 this last week and it was such a fun day because this year he actually understood what a birthday is. For days leading up he wouldn't stop talking about it. He was so excited! I was just as excited to make his birthday as fun and as special as possible. His birthday festivities unintentionally spanned over several days. So I think he's under the impression now that birthdays last a whole week. Oh well.
Here's what we did.....
We woke up and had chocolate crepes.
After lunch we went and got a twist ice cream cone.
We went and played at Chuck E. Cheeses.
At Sunday dinner with cousins we had a yummy cake.
A few days later we went to a mini rodeo and the kids had a blast playing at the petting zoo.
Hayden chasing the goat.
Petting the bunny.
Watching the rodeo.
Horse rides.
For his birthday party we invited some friends to his "Construction Party". We played Pin the Hook on the Crane.
The kids hammered Tees into styrofoam.
We were builders and made marshmallow toothpick buildings.
Carter just enjoyed eating it.
Carters favorite part was opening his presents.
And eating chocolate cake, of course.
Carter loves his friends and cousins and is going to be so sad when we move.
HAPPY BITHDAY CARTER BOY! We love you!

That video! hahah! He's so sweet, just patiently waiting for you all to finish singing him a song so he could blow out his candles. And then his several attempts at trying to get those candles out! Hahahah. Loveee that boy! And looks like he got spoiled with lots of cakes and lots of celebrating.
