Utah Summers

As much as we love living in Arizona, it is not the place to be during the summer.  115 degrees is not my cup of tea.  That's partly why we decided to get out and visit my family in Utah and Kevs family in Vegas (other reasons included Kev leaving me to do audition rotations at various hospitals throughout the country, and we of course, just like spending time with our families).  Here are some of the things we did in Utah.

My mom pulled my Magleby's Chocolare wedding cake out of the deep freeze from 4 years ago. Did we eat it? Of course! It was still delicious.

Carter has loved hanging out with his uncles. He especially loved mowing the lawn with Jace. I'm hoping this love continues through his teen years.

He also loved snuggling his uncles and watching movies.

Hayden also loved getting lots of attention.

Carter and Adam wearing silly slippers.

What child doesn't love playing dress ups?

It isn't summer until you eat snowcones at Hokulia.

And play at 7 Peaks.

Hayden relaxing at the pool with her aunties and Molly.

We checked out the recently renovated Bean Museum.

Carter was very concerned for the moose.

Sprinklers under the tramp.

New haircut, thanks to Heidi.

Orem Owlz game for fhe.

Hayden loves when Carter sits and plays with her.

Hayden meeting her great-grandma Anderson.

And lastly, my little sister, April, got married. She was such a beautiful bride. (Left to Right: Me, April, Angie, Heidi. Below: Hailey)
