Happy Father's Day

I don't know why, but father's seem to be WAY less appreciated for their role in the family than mothers.  They are rarely portrayed in a good light in tv shows and movies now-a-days.  Which bothers me.  I think the reason it's so annoying to me is because I have seen first hand how important fathers are in family units.  I have the most incredible husband, father, father-in-law, brothers, brother-in-laws, and grandpas.  They are all such great examples of loving, hard working, supportive, fun, and caring dads.  I am so grateful for their examples in my life.

This morning when Kev woke up, Carter and Hayden presented him with the #1 Dad trophy.  He's kind of a big deal. (yes those are noodles, beans, sea shells, buttons, and pom poms glued on)
For breakfast I made some strawberry stuffed french toast.  It was delicious.  Here's the link.  http://www.seededatthetable.com/2011/03/28/strawberry-stuffed-french-toast/

Carter let daddy drink his "brown milk" with one of his silly straws.  It's the simple things, right?

This doesn't have to do with Fathers Day but I love when they snuggle each other.....especially in diapers.

Hope all you dads out there had a wonderful Father's Day (even though I'm sure there are very few men reading my blog).
