Wonderful Mothers

Mothers Day is definitely a holiday I didn't fully appreciate as a child.  In fact, it wasn't until 2 years ago when I became a mother I realized how wonderful the mothers in my life are.
I have an incredible mother in law who gave me one of the greatest blessings in my life....Kevin.  She obviously did an amazing job raising him because I think he turned out pretty close to perfect.  haha.  I love how much she loves my kids.  She is such a sweet grandma and always wants to hold and snuggle them.  She is such a selfless person that is constantly serving others.
I also have an incredible mother that has been such an amazing example to me.  She has spent the last 30 years running from soccer practices, parent teacher conferences, piano recitals, etc.  She rarely ever missed any of my activities (and with 12 kids, that's pretty miraculous).  She would do anything for her kids.  If I turn out half as amazing as her I'll consider myself successful.

This is exactly the kind of mother I want to be and, even thought I have a loooooong way to go, I am so grateful for my mom, mother in law, grandma's, and so many other women that have shown me, by example, how to do this.
