Play Time

I cannot even express how much I love being able to be home with my little boy all day. We have so much fun together. There is nothing that makes me more happy then watching him, grow and learn new things. Carter is getting to such a fun age. He is so active, and loves exploring, climbing, running, building, destroying, touching, coloring, eating, dancing, hiding, jumping, squishing, and every other verb you can think of. He's finally old enough that we've been able to do some fun projects and crafts together. Take a look......

We had some leftover moving boxes and Carter is obsessed with cars, so I made him a car world.

Daddy got in on the fun and made him this awesome airplane.

The other day I made some discovery bottles. The clear one has random objects floating in water for him to find and the other has glitter that is fun to shake up. When he gets a little older I'll empty out the water and put sand or rice in so it's trickier to find the objects.

What little kid doesn't like play dough? Well we had some fun poking noodles into them and then Carter practiced putting Cheerios on the noodles. Still got some work on those fine motor skills.

And lastly, we make sure to get lots of kiddie pool time in. This kid would live in this pool if I let him.
