Thanksgiving Break

It is not like me to get behind on my blogging.  Being in Utah and playing with family definitely has been a distraction.  However, I feel like my Thanksgiving post is the most important post of the year, so even though I'm behind, I'm going to share a couple things I'm grateful for and then fill ya in on what we've been up to.

I think the biggest blessing I received this year is my sweet little Carter boy.  He has brought me more happiness then I thought possible.
I'm grateful for Kev.  He never ceases to amaze me.  He has been so busy with school and yet ALWAYS makes sure he gets everything done early so he can have plenty of family time.
I'm grateful for family.  We are so grateful for our parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins that are constantly showing us their love and support.
I'm grateful for this beautiful country we live in.  With the recent presidential election and all the NEGATIVE media that surrounded it, it's nice to reflect on all the blessings we receive from living here.  The right to be who we want to be, pursue what we want to pursue, and believe what we want to believe.
Lastly I'm grateful for the gospel and the knowledge I have of our Saviors plan for each of us.  This knowledge makes me want to be better everyday and always strive to set a good example for my family.

Kev, Carter, and I had a really fun Thanksgiving break with the Sagers.  Kevin's little sister Lauren got married in the Timpanogos Temple the day before Thanksgiving.  It was so fun having the whole family together.  The wedding and reception were beautiful and we couldn't be more excited to have Nathan in the family.

On the plane on our way to Utah.  This picture makes me laugh because Carter looks like he has man hands.

The lovely couple.

Beautiful Lauren

Wooo!!!!

My handsome boys at the reception.

Learning how to drink out of a real cup.  It's tricky stuff.

Practicing good oral hygiene.

Playing outside in the November sunshine.

Just eating a snack with Uncle Cam.

Carter wishes he was as good of a pianist as daddy.

The beautiful lights at the Riverwoods Mall.

Some other things we did that I didn't get pictures of.  We went to see the movie Wreck it Ralph (I highly recommend it),  we had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma/pa Sagers house, we had a grand kids gift exchange, and lots of family fun.  Now onto the Christmas Season!!!!!
