Life lately

Things have been pretty exciting around here with the St. Louis Cardinals playing in the world series, starting with their CRAZY upset in game 6 and then the awesome win last night in game 7 to win the world series. People around here are so excited and, while I've never really been a Cardinals fan, living out here with die-hard fans has made it fun cheering for them and watching them come back from their not-so-hot season to win the WORLD SERIES!
As for us, Kev is on intramural volleyball and basketball teams that are doing awesome. His volleyball team hasn't lost a game yet and his basketball team unfortunately has 2 losses on the season, but are still doing awesome. A bunch of our friends in the ward are on the team which makes it extra fun.
Today he and his buddies played in a dodgeball tournament that was so fun to watch. All the teams there dressed up (just like in the movie Dodgeball). His team dressed as gangsta-thugs. It was pretty funny, especially since they are all good, white, Mormon, soon-to-be doctors. Very much NOT gangsta/thugs. Kev even drew some "tattoo" tear drops under his eye (you know, since he's killed so many people in his life). haha! It was hilarious. Here are some pics.

We LOVE all our AWESOME friends out here!!!!!!

  1. I so so happy to see the intramural dream is alive and well in Missouri. But Mindy, where are the photos of your teams?
