Y Awards
Every year BYU has the "Y" awards to honor student athletes. It's a big night for the athletes and a lot of fun seeing fellow teammates all dressed up. They have 13 awards the athletes are nominated for, these include awards such as Rookie of the Year, Athlete of the Year, Team of the Year, etc. This year Kev was a finalist for the Ed Stein Outstanding Senior Male Athlete Award. "It is the oldest recognition bestowed upon a BYU male athlete; given to the senior who has most clearly desmonstrated high athletics and academic performance and sportmanship". Unfortunately he didn't win, but I am so proud of him for being nominated for the second year in a row (last year he was up for the Outstanding Junior Male Athlete). It ended up being a really fun night and, yes, Jimmer won a LOT of awards.

ReplyDeletePshhh how could I forget Nicole. It was only the "Sexiest Athletes at BYU" award. I'm still upset we didn't win, it was obviously rigged.
