Recent going-ons

Winter semester has been going great so far. I only have 1 class, yes that's right, 1 class. It's pretty awesome. Although it's not a very fun class. Bio-organic chemistry=poopy! As for Kevin he only has a couple classes as well and then we'll both graduate in April. Wow, I feel so old.

Anyways, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Here's what's been going on lately.

We went to the BYU vs. SDSU basketball game and it was UNREAL!!!!! It was so loud I really regretted not bringing ear plugs. For sure my long term hearing will be affecting by that night (Yes, having a father that is an ear Dr. has rubbed off on me a little). It was a lot of fun though and at 1/2 time Kev and the volleyball team got to go down on the court and throw shirts into the crowd.

In other news, for track we went to New York City this past weekend to run in the New Balance Invitational. It's one of the biggest college meets in the country and it was so much fun. Our womens team took 1st place over 2nd place Texas A&M and 3rd place LSU. We also got to go out and do all the fun touristy stuff. I must say New York is a whole new world compared to Happy Valley Utah. I definitely felt a new appreciation for all the friendly, happy people here in Utah (plus everyone there wears black, it's so depressing). Anyways, it was a lot of fun, but i'm glad to be back home.
